Steve Brier Recognized for Service to the Missouri Pork Association
Columbia, Mo.,—Steve Brier, a pork producer from Nevada, was recognized for his service as a board member of the Missouri Pork Association on February 11 at the 2009 Missouri Pork Expo’s Pork Industry Buffet in Columbia.
Brier served as Southwest Region Director from 2003 through 2008. He grew up on a family farm that had 300 acres of corn, beans, wheat, and pigs farrow to finish. He currently works for Murphy-Brown LLC as the Midwest Sow Production Manager. In the past he worked for Forkner Farms, TRULINE Genetics as production manager.
“We extend our gratitude to Steve for his service and dedication to the pork industry,” said Don Nikodim, executive vice president of the Missouri Pork Association. “We hope to continue working with him in various capacities in the future.”
