Carol Hein Recognized for Service to the Missouri Pork Association
Columbia, Mo.,—Carol Hein, of Spickard, was recognized for her service as a board member of the Missouri Pork Association on February 11 at the 2009 Missouri Pork Expo’s Pork Industry Buffet in Columbia.
Hein served as Northwest Region Director from 2003 through 2008. She is a past secretary and treasurer of MPA, and past chairwomen of MPA’s Consumer Marketing Committee. She also served two years on the National Pork Board and was a member of NPB’s Niche Pork Development, Demand Enhancement and Audit and Resolutions Committees. Hein was a participant in ALOT Class IX, was a past member of the ALOT Board of Directors, and serves on the Mizzou Alumni Association’s Governing Board.
Hein currently works for CMA out of Kansas City. She was previously employed by PSF for 13.5 years where she was the marketing manager, as well as in the communications and public affairs department.
“We appreciate all of Carol’s service and dedication to the pork industry,” said Don Nikodim, executive vice president of the Missouri Pork Association. “We want to continue working with her in various capacities in the future.”
