Amanda Swaim Joins Missouri Pork Association

Columbia, Mo.,—On July 17, the Missouri Pork Association welcomed Amanda Swaim from Centralia as the new administrative assistant/office manager.


Amanda will be responsible for numerous duties, including receptionist, MPA correspondence, coordinating and reporting for MPA committees, financial records, and membership/database maintenance. She will also coordinate the Pork Place with Bob Wheeler and other miscellaneous special events.


Prior to joining MPA, Amanda was a program support specialist for Missouri Online at the University of Missouri System. She provided program management support for faculty development programs and quality course reviews. She also provided general administrative support to three directors of the Program and Course Design Services unit of Missouri Online.


She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Missouri in 2007, and recently completed her certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
