Senator Lincoln Hough Receives Outstanding Legislator Award from the Missouri Pork Association

Osage Beach, Mo.,–Adam Dohrman, chairman of the Missouri Pork Association (MPA), presented the Outstanding Legislator Award to Senator Lincoln Hough (R-30th District) during the 2024 Missouri Pork Expo on February 20. Senator Hough was chosen for his outstanding support of the Missouri Pork Association, the Missouri pork industry and all of agriculture.


“Senator Hough has been a strong advocate for not only the pork industry, but all of Missouri agriculture,” said Dohrman. “Agriculture is Missouri’s #1 industry, and the Senator understands and strongly advocates for fair and balanced statewide agricultural regulations to remain profitable.”


Senator Hough is also a staunch leader in recognizing and advancing animal agriculture. His recent efforts in securing funding for the new abattoir and meat science center at the University of Missouri will pay dividends to Missouri for years to come. Additionally, he’s an ardent supporter of leadership and youth programs, which are so very important to our future.


Pork producers from across the state attended the 2024 Missouri Pork Expo held in Osage Beach, Missouri on February 20-21. Highlights included a trade show, educational sessions, and guest speakers.
